so my wife is 7 months pregnant. apparently mosquitoes love pregnant women like 2x more than regular people because of the extra co2 and body heat. she found this out the hard way last summer when she got eaten alive at her sister's baby shower.

look. i'm a no nonsense person. i grew up on a farm in oklahoma. i have been bitten by every kind of bug there is. i have used everything. and i mean EVERYTHING. deet 100%. permethrin on clothes. those big propane mosquito magnet things ($400 don't ask). citronella plants. bat houses. i even tried bug juice from a survival store one time which was a mistake.

four kids. youngest is 2. oldest is 11. summer with this many kids in texas is a lot of swatting and crying and applying spray and reapplying spray and the youngest one putting his hands in his mouth right after.
my wife was at her wits end with the bug spray routine. it takes 15 minutes to spray everyone before we go to the park and by the time we get there everyone is sweaty and smells like chemicals and the 2 year old is rubbing his eyes.
